Middle School Podcaster Noticed by Microsoft; Starts Class Scribe Blog for Kids, Too

ScribeEric, congratulations on the news that Microsoft will be bringing you out to Redmond later this month to join in the Microsoft Innovative Teachers Forum

A wonderful experience that will come on the heels of your time with Will Richardson and company this summer at the Discovery Education Network Midwest Regional Institute in Chicago.

Glad to see that your podcasts are back up and running this year.  Curious.  Will you be including your students' voices as well their words?  Love the new collaborative Class Scribe blog that you've created with your kids!

Thanks for the "shout-out". Yes, I do plan to have some podcasts this year with students producing more of the content. We are working on a podcast exchange project with a class in Australia that should be really cool. The students are starting to really like the class scribe blog. Talk to you later....

Eric -- Been ages, my friend. So pleased to know -- as I was sensing from what you were hinting at with the Australian project -- that your kids were going to be adding their actual voices. A wonderful foundation you've built for them. Enjoy watching them grow through the network you have inspired! Cheers, Christian
