Bringing together architects, librarians, and educators, the New England Educational Media Association is staging a really intriguing event on March 29th in Boston called "Make Room for Teens: Designing Library Spaces for the Net Generation" that seems like the sort of thing that could easily bonfire up in other spots around the US and beyond.
The presenters include:
- Rolf Erickson, who I had the chance to interview for DesignShare this summer, is also going to be releasing the 2nd edition of his book, Designing a School Library Media Center for the Future
- Kim Bolan, author of the ALA publication entitled "Teen Spaces" and the library consultant who has worked on re-vamping teen spaces in over 60 libraries in Queens, NY
