Towards the end of June, I posted a piece about William Kamkwamba, a 'kid' from Africa, who is a self-taught engineer showcased through the TED Africa conference (my post: "Just a Windmill. Just a Kid. Right?").
I was fortunate enough to have William email back to me after I left a comment on his own blog a few weeks ago. Can't imagine how much correspondence he's facing these days. Humbled that he took time to return my message.
His TED video -- 3 minutes long -- was just released. His humility, passion, and curiosity go well beyond my words. He hints at more accomplishment in 3 minutes than I'll demonstrate in a lifetime, my gut tells me. Video is well worth a visit.
